Kylie Wilson,

It's been a great start to the season on Brisbane Waters. Wind and weather have been kind to us, allowing for some very close racing. The Spring had the usual frontrunners with Ivy, owned by John Denton and Luke Birch's G.B.R leading the series

Progress scores for the other series is full of tied for first place results and our Club Championships has Pointless in first position, with only three points separating second place all the way back to sixth. It's always competitive racing at Gosford, and we do feel like it doesn't get much better than this. We may only have eight boats, but there is rarely much distance between us.

Accordingly, we always have plenty to talk about during the 'debrief' of prawns and Coopers beer back at the club.

Also delighted to report that once again, our intrepid traveller, Don Wilson, will be contesting the Australian national Etchells Championship in Perth. He has been honing the skills of his new crew, and it has shown in his results each week. Good luck to Don and his crew.
