Lake Macquarie is the place to be this October long-weekend for the Spring Championship. Racing will be held on 3 and 4 October 2009 with six races over the two days.

"A few of the guys from Mooloolaba have talked about coming to the Spring Championship, using the event as a dress rehearsal for the National Championship to be held here in January," Peter McNeill said.

The Spring Championship is a great chance to dust off the winter cobwebs and get reinvigorated and excited about the new summer sailing season.

The proposed program is - Registration and three races on Saturday 3 October, then the final three races on the Sunday with a presentation after racing at the Lake Macquarie Yacht Club.

The Notice of Race, to be published shortly, and details on Lake Macquarie accommodation options can be found on the event webpage below.
