The Lake Macquarie Yacht Club and Etchells Fleet invite Etchells Sailors to compete in the Murphy & Nye 2010 International Etchells Australian Championship.

Lake Macquarie offers a unique Etchells sailing experience. Australia's largest saltwater coastal lake provides a non tidal, uncluttered race track, and a flat water level playing field. Prevailing winds in January are North East seabreezes, punctuated by Southerly wind streams. Numerous sailing classes have acknowledged the lake to be one of the finest venues in the land.
